Scientific Conference on the project “Development of Research and Innovation at Trakia University in Service of Health and Sustainable Well-Being" was held at Trakia University in Stara Zagora on 11 April 2025, which was attended by Prof. Yoana Kiselova-Kaneva – Head of the Scientific Group on Natural Products for Innovative Preventive Medicine and Health (Natura4Health) under project No BG-RRP-2.004-0009-C02 “Medical University - Varna: Enhancement of Translational Excellence Achievement in Medicine (MUVE-TEAM)".
During the Conference, the researchers from Trakia University presented the scientific studies implemented to date, as well as the progress of the project activities through the achievement of the indicators set out in the project proposal: the number of recruited young and established researchers, the number of scientific publications, participations and trainings, improved facilities and collaborations, etc. The project team from Trakia University together with the representatives of the Advisory Board and the Trakia University Project Monitor Acad. Atanas Pavlov discussed the challenges faced by the research institutes in Bulgaria during the implementation of the project activities.
Project No BG-RRP-2.004-006-C03 “Development of Research and Innovation at Trakia University in Service of Health and Sustainable Well-Being" is funded by the European Union – Next Generation, through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria under the Procedure for the Establishment of a Network of Research Higher Education Institutions, with a total value for Trakia University of BGN 12 000 000 with a term of implementation until 30 June 2026.
