At the beginning of 2025, the major renovation of the Urology Clinic at UMHAT "St. Marina"–Varna was completed. The renovated and modernised Clinic is already working at full capacity with patients from Varna and North-eastern Bulgaria. In addition to the major renovation of the facilities, the Urology Clinic also has new medical apparatus and equipment. The specialists at the Clinic can boast solid expertise in the diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment of various urological diseases.

2 555 patients were diagnosed and treated at the Urology Clinic in 2024. Given the increased morbidity of the population on a national scale and the leadership role of UMHAT "St. Marina"–Varna in the region, an annual increase in the number of patients undergoing treatment is observed. Throughout 2024, 1 140 surgeries were performed at the Urology Clinic, of which 529 were medium, 330 were major and 281 were very major. The operating rooms are supplied with state-of-the-art equipment, including a robotic surgery system - Da Vinci Xi, with which 167 very major surgeries were performed last year. The cutting-edge medical equipment also includes numerous systems, including laparoscopic, rigid and flexible endoscopy, etc. The Clinic is a training facility for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students at Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov"-Varna.

The greatest advantage for patients is the opportunity to receive complex diagnostics and treatment of the most severe diseases. UMHAT "St. Marina"–Varna has its own cyclotron complex, PET/CT with diagnostic capabilities with FDG and Ga68, SPECT/CT, three latest generation computed tomography scanners, three angiographic units with equipment of the highest class, ultrasound apparatus with the ability to perform fusion biopsies of the prostate, two nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus - 1.5 T and 3 T, modern pathoanatomy, Clinical Laboratory, Laboratory of Microbiology, Laboratory of Virology, Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Laboratory of Medical Genetics. The cycle of treatment of patients with oncological diseases has been closed with the available modern structures such as the Clinic of Medical Oncology and the Radiotherapy Clinic, which have specialised equipment of the latest generation.
