Preparations for the paddle board relay competition “65 Years of Medical University–Varna – 65 Kilometres Together for Success", which is scheduled for 27 June at the Port of Varna, are continuing with growing interest, including from other universities.
A great number of faculty members, employees, and students from MU–Varna have already registered for the initiative and will participate in the symbolic completion of the 65-kilometre distance through relay paddling in 500-metre sections. The event is a part of the programme celebrating the 65th anniversary of Medical University–Varna and aims to nurture an active lifestyle, team spirit, and a close bonding to the sea.
The organisers would like to remind all pre-registered participants to arrive at 2:30 pm in the area near the “Happy" restaurant, where registration and distribution of numbered competition T-shirts will take place. On-site registration is also available shortly before the beginning of the event at 3 pm.
The event will bring together the academic community of the University in a unique sporting endeavour by the sea, promising thrilling moments and an unforgettable shared experience.
