Modern technological equipment and mentors’ high professionalism - this was pointed out by the students from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University as the most remarkable reminiscence that would remain in them from the summer internship, held at the training and clinical facilities of MU - Varna. At an official ceremony on Friday, 20th July 2018, the twenty students from Russia received their Certificates from Dr. Aneta Dokova - Head of the International Cooperation Department and Ms. Siana Smoletsova - Summer Internship Coordinator.
During the last two weeks fifteen medical, four dental students and one student in Pharmacy were trained under the expert guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irina Ivanova, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasil Bozhkov, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Papanchev, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevena Karadzhova and Assoc. Prof. Pharm. Ilia Zhelev. All lecturers conducting the summer internships shared their appreciation of the excellent level of the academic training, high motivation, discipline and thoroughness of the Russian students.
The Moscow students extended their gratitude to the management of MU - Varna and the International Cooperation Department for turning the student exchange between the two universities into a tradition, as well as to their colleagues - students at MU - Varna for their cooperation during the internship, and the organization of the cultural and social programme out of the clinical practice.
For the eighth consecutive year MU-Varna and the Moscow University have implemented the internship exchange program. A group of twenty students and some lecturers from MU – Varna set off to Moscow two days ago.
