MU-Varna athletes won three medals at the Summer University 2025 competitions, which took place in Kiten from 24th to 31st August. Twenty-five students participated in the event, taking part in the competitions in football, beach volleyball, street basketball, beach tennis, swimming, beach athletics relay, beach relay, tug-of-war, water polo, and street fitness.
Our sports people won prizes in three disciplines. The prizes were awarded for two second places for the water polo and women's beach volleyball teams, and for individual first and second place in swimming. Thanks to the overall performance of the students in all sports, Medical University-Varna was ranked seventh in the final standings.

Summer University is a social project that aims to create conditions for building an active dialogue among the student communities of higher education institutions through their participation in training courses, seminars, sports and cultural events, uniting them to work together for the development of mass student sport, education and intercultural values.
