A team from MU–Varna took part in the 25th European Congress of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, held in Krakow (Poland), from 23 to 26 March 2026. The participation was supported by the MU–Varna project “Enhancement of Translational Achievements in Medicine (MUVE-TEAM), BG-RRP – 2.0040009-C02".
A multidisciplinary team from various departments of the University was an active participant in the prestigious scientific forum. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evgeniya Dimova, PhD, and Chief Assistant Prof. Dr. Liliya Panayotova-Ovcharova, PhD, from the Department of Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation and Sea Therapy took part in the event. The team also included Chief Assistant Prof. Maria Ivanova, MSc Pharm, PhD, from the Department of Organisation and Economics of Pharmacy.

Assoc. Prof. Velichka Andonova, MSc Pharm, PhD, and Chief Assistant Prof. Ivaylo Pehlivanov, MSc Pharm, PhD, were participants from the Department of Pharmaceutical Technologies. Representatives of the clinical specialities were Dr. Petar Petkov from the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and Assistant Prof. Dr. Georgi Boshev, from the Department of Neurosurgery and ENT Diseases.
During the Congress, the team delivered one oral presentation and six poster presentations, developed within the framework of internal projects No. 3.4.10 and No. 3.4.15 under the MUVE-TEAM project.
Dr. Detelina Nedyalkova-Petkova, PhD, and Dr. Magdalena Bosheva, PhD, also took part in the Congress.

The scientific contributions provoked interest among the international scientific community and created opportunities for exchange of expertise, and the promotion of innovative approaches in the field of physical and rehabilitation medicine.
The participation of the MU–Varna team in this prestigious forum highlights the commitment of the University and UMHAT “St. Marina" to the development of innovative approaches in physical and rehabilitation medicine, as well as their dedication to active exchange of knowledge and expertise with outstanding international specialists.
The participation of the multidisciplinary team contributed to promoting the scientific activity of MU–Varna and to strengthening its position as an active partner in the European scientific community.
