The assistant pharmacist profession is associated with the assumption of essential responsibilities in the field of pharmaceutical care, health promotion, and disease prevention. Assistant pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who are actively involved in all stages of the pharmaceutical supply chain.
Based on the theoretical knowledge and practical competencies acquired during their training, assistant pharmacists possess a broad spectrum of opportunities for professional realisation, including but not limited to community pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies and warehouses, galenic laboratories, drugstores, medical device stores, research and development.
Following the successful completion of their education, graduates are eligible to continue their studies in the master's programmes of the Medical University of Varna, such as: "Pharmacy Management" and "Health Management".
