Dear colleagues and friends,

We are happy to invite you to IVth International Conference “Health care – Contribution to the Quality of Life”, organized by the Department of Nursing Care at the Faculty of Public Health, Medical University of Varna jointly with “St. Marina” University Hospital in Varna and the Hamidiye​ Faculty of Nursing at the University of Health Sciences in Istanbul, Turkey.

Our academic team went a long way but eventually, we achieved the desired result – the name of our department is a synonym of sustainable development and professionalism. A team, which in partnership with “St. Marina” University Hospital in Varna succeeded to consolidate as one of the leading departments in the training of nurses and midwives in Bulgaria and together we created our own traditions in the preparation of nursing care professionals.

I would like to share my delight that this scientific event unites two Balkan leaders – the University of Health Sciences in Istanbul, Turkey and the Medical University of Varna. It creates the opportunity for us to share our experience and good practices in the field of nursing care.
