Eighth consecutive years, Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna initiates and organizes the festival "Sea and Health", dedicated to the European Maritime Day.
For 2022 the opening ceremony is scheduled for 20 May (Friday) 11.00 am, when the hybrid (in-person and virtual) scientific conference will begin. Two parallel sessions will be conducted: "Medicine" and "Public Health", both with working languages – Bulgarian and English.
All interested students, academic tutors, researchers, etc. are welcome to join with scientific research, related to the topic "Sea and human health" following the conference procedure below:
- To send an application for participation (according to the sample) no later than April 15, 2022 to the e-mail address: sea-and-health@hotmail.com. The participation of students have to be with a supervisor. Each applicant will receive a response for approval.
- In receiving approval, to send an Abstract of the selected topic (according to the sample in the Instructions for Authors) no later than April 29, 2022. In response, the applicant will receive a template for presentation.
- To send their Presentation on the selected topic no later than 13.05.2022. Presentations should consist of no more than 10 slides, with a presentation time of up to 7 minutes. In response, the applicant will receive a Program for the conference with a venue for the relevant section, moderator and a list of names for presentations.
- To come for participation in the conference at the venue specified in the Program no later than 10:45 a.m. on 20.05.2022.
All the participants will receive certificates and their Abstracts will be published in a specialized edition of Varna Medical University.
